Pogoplug App

I am just so happy they finally came out with Pogoplug App for the Kindle Fire. It works well enough with my Pogoplug Series 4 Multimedia Sharing Device. My video streams smoothly. The pics take some time to load, and swiping from one to the next takes large swipes and is a little sticky, but I’m just happy to be able to see them.

There is a “print” option, but I’m not sure how to make that work. It doesn’t recognize iPrint and there’s no option for setting it up. “Share” lets me send links to my photos to Facebook and Twitter and I can email the link to friends. Sharing to iPrint doesn’t work.

I can also download photos from the Pogoplug. From there, I can print from iPrint (my workaround if I really want to print from the Fire). View the downloaded photos with the gallery app that comes with the Fire.

Yes, there’s room for improvement, but I’m happy.
