Almond Roca Buttercrunch Toffee with Chocolate and Almonds 35oz Tin Cannister

We received this Almond Roca Tin for Christmas and I do think it’s a rather nice gift. Almond Roca fans rejoice! The can is pretty big — more impressive than the regular Almond Roca containers. There’s enough sweetness there to last a long time.

Almond Roca will please anyone who likes almonds, toffee and chocolate. Nutty chocolate on the outside, crunchy toffee on the inside. Yum.

Truffettes de France All Natural French Truffles Dusted with Cocoa Powder – 2.2 lbs

These Truffettes de France are the ultimate in indulgence. Each 2.2 lb box contains two bags full. That’s a lot of truffles. They’re 250 Calories per five pieces, but they’re so rich and creamy that I’m satisfied with just a couple.

The chocolate flavor is dark but not bitter. It’s not the milk chocolate that I usually snack on. It’s better.

Kellogg’s Frosted Mini-Wheats Little Bites Chocolate Cereal

My children’s favorite cereal is the Kellogg’s Frosted Mini-Wheats Little Bites Chocolate Cereal. Frosted on one side and a crunch of chocolate in the center. It even makes a good snack straight out of the box. Despite the frosting and the chocolate, it doesn’t taste overly sweet. I like it, and so do my kids. We always seem to have a box of it around the house.

Brown and Haley Almond Roca Buttercrunch Toffee, 4.2-Ounce Boxes

If you’ve never tried Almond Roca Buttercrunch Toffee, you’re missing out on one of the joys of life. Buttercrunch toffee rolled in chocolate and covered in nuts is pure heavenly delight. All wrapped up in gold wrappers, they look like golden nuggets. I always appreciate a box of these as a gift. My only problem with the 4.2 ounce boxes is they only have ten — yes, ten — pieces. That’s not very much. The rest of it is box and plastic, like how they package those school fundraising chocolates. Either the box should be smaller or the package should be more full. The way it comes feels deceptive.

Ferrero Rocher Star Gift Box, 15-Count

My husband and I disagree about Ferrero Rocher. I personally love them, always have. He despises them. He says they’re like fruitcake, people pass them around at Christmas. His sister gave some to us — he says because she can’t stand them, either. Count me lucky that no one else wants them. They’ve been sitting around my house untouched by my husband and children. Hazelnut covered in chocolate and a crispy shell. What’s not to like?

Well, I don’t think this star-shaped box is as impressive in person as it is online. It just doesn’t shine, but the chocolate is delicious . . . if you ask me. Rated four stars, with the caveat that no one else in my family agrees.
