4oz Salt Shaker 3 Pack: Himalayan Salt, French Grey Salt, Pacific Ocean Salt

Each Salt Shaker 3 Pack
comes with three different salts: Pacific sea salt, French grey salt, and Sherpa pink salt. All the salts are fine grain, small enough that they just fall right through the holes on the shaker bottle. The fine grains means a more subtle flavor than a more coarse texture. I personally prefer coarse, but the fine grain is still very good. I have to pour it in my hands to sprinkle it on food or risk having my food drown in salt. Smaller holes on the shaker bottle would be appreciated.
Caking occurred with the Sherpa pink salt, but a little shake of the bottle took care of that problem. None of the other salts showed signs of caking, and I don’t think the flavor was affected at all.
Speaking of flavor, they really pop when I sprinkle the salts on something bland, like French fries. Yum. Pacific sea salt is so much better than table salt. I would choose the sea salt over table salt any day.
Sherpa pink salt. Yes, it’s really pink. I had to look that one up. The Himalayan salt is listed all over the internet as the world’s purest salt. I’m not sure how they define pure. It has so many trace minerals, which is why many people prefer it over table salt. I think it’s a beautiful color, the prettiest salt I’ve ever seen. My nine year-old likes it. She says to write in the review that it tastes just like salt but it’s pretty. Yes, it is pretty, but the grains are fine enough that the color wouldn’t show once sprinkled on the food. It will, however, definitely be a conversation piece at the next dinner party.
French grey salt is sea salt from Brittany, France. It has a grey color, and I think its flavor is the strongest of the three.
What an amazing set of salts for the gourmet cook in your life. I can’t wait until my in-laws see this. I think they’ll love it.
